Denture

Removable Partial Denture (RPD)

It's the replacement of the tooth/teeth. This is removable type i.e. you can remove it at the end of the day and again put it into the mouth next day. It is less expensive.

Fixed Partial Denture (FPD)

Replacement of the teeth permanently. It is the most comfortable (just like natural tooth/teeth) and you can chew anything with this (far better than RPD). It's fixed denture and you can't remove this. It is more expensive than RPD.

Implant

It is also a kind of fixed denture. In implant, the missing tooth/teeth (after extraction/removal) will be replaced by a 'Titanium Screw' inserted into the bone, then leave that screw for three months and after that depending upon the firmness of that screw, we will put a crown/cap onto it.

It is the best fixed denture, if it is properly done by specialist.

It is expensive than other dentures but if it is properly inserted, it will behave like almost natural tooth.
